Today I have been working on 4 new affordable art pieces.. the theme being BIG CATS.. when I am painting these smaller pieces they are giving me ideas are larger pieces to be painting in the future.
The tiger being one of my today’s favourites.. you may see him on a larger scale soon 🐯
After a little confusion with the council.. I now have been given the go ahead to paint a 12ft shark on a huge billboard on Stokes Croft tomorrow.. which as you might know I am very excited about. Sharks are ultimately my favourite animal.. and I get to paint one almost lifesize.. on one of the busiest streets in Bristol.. I couldn't be happier. THANK YOU UPFEST FOR ARRANGING THIS.
This piece above is one of the shark pieces I painted last year.. I have two more identical available to buy on 90x90cm box canvas.. 🦈https://sophielongart.co.uk/collections/canvas/products/the-real-great-white-shark
After the first series was so successful.. I have decided to do a second series in time for Christmas.. these pieces will make fantastic presents and stocking fillers and at the same time will not break your bank.

Being an an institution of beautifully, organic, local, well farmed produce, it wasn’t hard to decide what sort of theme to paint for this exhibition.. Seven typically found animals on a farm of course.

I become totally tongue tied.. rambling about the most non related topics.. and generally make myself seem slightly away with the fairies. This is why i am an artist.. and not a public speaking.. ANYWAY… I was invited to The Laura Rawlings Show at BBC RADIO BRISTOL to talk about the UPFEST crowd surfer.. there was just over 10 hours for UPFEST to hit the 20k crowd surfer so the festival could go ahead. It was the show and tell part...
