The piece I created for my mural for Upfest 2026 Europe’s largest street art festival.

After taking last year off to have a baby, I wanted this piece to be about protection, connection and motherhood. I chose gorillas because Bristol’s troop recently moved into their new habitat, so the idea of “home” felt especially meaningful this year.

I wanted the mother and baby to feel powerful but gentle at the same time, something protective, calm and full of emotion, surrounded by the chaos and colour that’s become part of my work.
