The piece I created for my mural for Upfest 2026 — Europe’s largest street art festival.
After taking last year off to have a baby, I wanted this piece to be about protection, connection and motherhood. I chose gorillas because Bristol’s troop recently moved into their new habitat, so the idea of “home” felt especially meaningful this year.
I wanted the mother and baby to feel powerful but gentle at the same time — something protective, calm and full of emotion, surrounded by the chaos and colour that’s become part of my work.
